We love to discover new music and are so happy we stumbled across this gem. We asked JVS a few short questions about his song "Currently". Here's what he had to say about it..
What inspired this song?
"This is one of the most relatable songs I've ever written, a lot of things have been happening in my own personal life and also around us all and God really placed this message in my heart no matter the darkest moments we may find ourselves in God is always by your side, so why should we fear when the Lord is fighting our battles. It's so easy for us to stress about alot of things but we must always remember that the battle is not ours but the Lords and we can't do it without him we need to call upon the Lord and he will surely see us through. These verses were inspired by the song - Psalm 23:4, Psalm 23:5,1 Samuel 16:7John 8:36, Philippians 4:6, Isaiah 45:5, Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 10:39, 1 John 2:15-16."..
What do you hope the listener takes away from the song?
"It is my prayer that all will come to know Jesus through my music amen!."..
What can we expect next from you?
"By The Grace of God more holy spirit filled music on the way, I would love to perform live one day that's something i've been praying about."
